Land Survey Practice Leader

Position:Land Survey Practice Leader
Location:Nashville, TN
Duration: Full-time Permanent

Job Description:

The Survey Practice Leader will have a strong background in conventional land surveying in both the public and private sectors, as well as experience with BIM, geospatial, LiDAR, unmanned aircraft systems, and photogrammetry surveying methods.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the survey department
• Evaluate market surveying practices and technologies
• Communicate and manage external clients
• Assist in business development
• Oversee QA/QC commitments
• Identify potential markets and growth opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree
• 10-15+ years of surveying experience with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Professional Land Surveyor license in Tennessee, or ability to obtain
• Familiarity with latest technology and emerging practices
• Experience with conventional and advanced surveying tools and techniques
