Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. You will be responsible for operating survey equipment and instruments in support of our engineering practices. Your role will also involve conducting land records research to obtain necessary documents for field surveys, processing survey data, preparing base drawings, and managing assigned project tasks. This may involve coordinating with different departments, contractors, and clients. Additionally, you will be required to develop and maintain complete records of survey party work performed, including time and expenses incurred. You will also review specifications and prepare the best method for completing the field work in an efficient manner. Part of your duties will also involve operating independently in the field to accomplish survey and staking functions and interfacing effectively with clients, contractors, and property owners.

• Experience with 1 of the following (Static, Base/Rover, RTK style of GPS surveying)

• Using EPOCH 50 GN22 receivers with data collectors

Work Site

This is an on-site position in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be based in our Winston-Salem, NC office but will spend the majority of their time working in the field.
