Position Overview: The Land Development Project Manager/Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of land development projects from conception to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, engineering, and land development, with experience in site grading, surveying, water and wastewater systems, SUE, and design. This role will require strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee land development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all necessary regulations and requirements Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and designs Conduct site evaluations and assessments to determine feasibility and potential challenges Prepare project budgets, schedules, and progress reports Coordinate and manage all necessary permits and approvals from local, state, and federal agencies Oversee site grading, surveying, and other engineering tasks Design and oversee the installation of water and wastewater systems Utilize SUE techniques to accurately locate underground utilities Ensure project compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards Provide guidance and support to project team members Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development, construction, or engineering Strong knowledge of site grading, surveying, and design principles Experience with water and wastewater systems design and installation Proficiency in SUE techniques and software Project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and team management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
