LAN Systems Engineer

Job Description Job Description Dox Electronics Inc. is looking to add a LAN Systems Engineer with experience in deploying systems and software within live customer environments. Ideal candidates should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or three to five years of relevant industry experience) and be highly motivated and thrive working in a fast paced, deadline driven, customer focused environment.

Responsibilities include: Listening to clients’ concerns and recommends and implements appropriate solutions Providing server, storage, and network technical support Installing and upgrading server hardware, software, storage and networking products. Resolving complex technical problems on new and existing systems, including server hardware, software, storage and networking products Ensuring compliance with company technical and quality standards and procedures Delivering the highest degree of customer satisfaction Escalating problems within parameters Developing and maintaining client relationships Identifying opportunities to expand or extend existing services Communicating effectively with customers and Dox employees Completing required documentation Technical Competencies:

IT-knowledge: Advanced and in-depth IT and IT workflow knowledge Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems. Experience & working knowledge of the following Technologies/Protocols (not limited to the list below): Virtual Environments – VMware, Hyper-V & Citrix Installation, Configuration, and Administration Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems Installation, Configuration, and Administration Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems Installation, Configuration, and Administration Microsoft Exchange Installation, Configuration, and Administration HP, Dell and IBM Server hardware Server utilities used to configure, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot hardware Various backup solutions, i.e.

Veeam, StorageCraft Office 365 use and deployment Ability to design and implement technology solutions for new and existing products/applications Other Professional Skills : Articulate communicator, fluent in English with excellent listening skills Self-motivated and ambitious Great written and oral skills A team player who isn't a clock watcher Must be detailed, precise and accurate Excellent skills in maintaining relationships with clients and other external parties Ability to manage multiple projects from start to completion Company Description Since 1982, Dox has been providing Cyber Security Consulting, Professional IT Support, and Security Assessments for organizations of all sizes across the United States.
