Laminating Machine Operator Lead

Pay: $23/hr.

Schedule: 10:45pm

• 7:00am, Sunday

• Friday (Opportunities for overtime)

Laminating Machine Operator Lead daily tasks:

• Operate machinery to apply adhesive evenly to moving web, using real-time computer screen feedback.

• Ensure quality by monitoring adhesive application for flaws and making immediate adjustments.

• Follow written and verbal instructions from Lead Laminating operator, including basic computer tasks.

• Efficiently perform product changeovers and cleanups to maximize machine productivity.

• Utilize material handling equipment for maneuvering large rolls of film and drums of adhesive.

• Assist with lifting machine parts weighing less than 75 lbs. during setup and cleanups.

• Prepare adhesive formulations by weighing and combining components using mechanical mixer.

• Work safely with flammable solvents in non-air conditioned, occasionally messy environment.

• Maintain cleanliness by disposing of scrap and waste as needed.

• Collaborate with Lead Laminating Operator to ensure smooth machine performance and organized assembly.

• Assist with changeovers at laminating end of machine.

• Monitor machine during needed breaks and reciprocate relief when needed.

• Adhere to hazardous waste protocols for labeling and handling drums.

• Support team members in Coating/Laminating department to ensure departmental success.

Qualifications: Must have knowledge operating machinery and material handling experience.
