Responsible for managing operations of campground locations to include training, accountability, food safety and sanitation, guest service, reservations, activities, housekeeping, cashier duties and quality controls. Assists in hiring, scheduling, reporting and training activities.

Summary

Responsible for managing operations of campground locations to include training, accountability, food safety and sanitation, guest service, reservations, activities, housekeeping, cashier duties and quality controls. Assists in hiring, scheduling, reporting and training activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing procedures of assigned areas.

  • Practices, teaches and enforces proper food safety guidelines adhering to company policy and local Health Department requirements.

  • Maintains all alcohol safety practices when applicable.

  • Trains Team Members and Leads on all policies and procedures of assigned units.

  • Manages Team Member and Lead activities ensuring all break and labor guidelines are followed.

  • Monitors cashier activities.

  • Leads team in Guest Service interactions and friendliness standards.

  • Maintains cleanliness of all campground areas.

  • Manages reservation system including Guest check in, check out, movement and other issues.

  • Manages inventory, focusing on par levels, visual merchandising, shrinkage and waste controls.

  • Interfaces with warehouse on product and supply needs.

  • Interfaces with maintenance on all equipment or physical plant needs.

  • Interfaces with Security as needed.

  • Completes schedules as required according to company guidelines.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma recommended.

Languages: English

Experience: Previous supervisory experience preferred. License to operate motor vehicles with clean driving record required.

Internal: Campground Team Members, Campground Leads, Warehouse Supervisor, Maintenance Team Members, Security Team Members, Campground Manager, Housekeeping Tean Members.

Organization

Number of direct reports: 2-4 Leads, 25-30 Seasonal Staff

Any other relevant comments: Must be able to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time. This position is subject to outside environmental conditions. Shifts include days, weekends, and holidays. Hours of work extend beyond 9-5pm.
