Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Laboratory/Testing Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for characterizing Entegris products and new technologies for product areas or technologies assigned and writing detailed technical reports documenting test results.

What You'll Do:

• Testing and Analysis

• Using a variety of test equipment and instruments, performs testing using standard and newly developed test methods. Analyzes and compiles results. Performs basic statistical analysis as needed.

• Support

• Provides technical expertise and testing support, including making sure laboratory resources are available for the testing requested by the product groups. Provides assistance to others as needed. Participates in product development processes to provide input from the standpoint of product testing.

• Documentation

• Updates and maintains documentation regarding test procedures and methods. Compiles and documents results. Writes technical reports and communicates testing status verbally and in writing.

• Laboratory Equipment

• Maintains laboratory equipment as needed, including calibration, routine maintenance, and repair. Designs, builds, and implements test fixtures and equipment.

• Test Methods

• Creates new test methods to characterize new and existing products. Identifies methods that accurately represent the field usage and characterize the performance of products and technologies. Documents new methods.

• Overall Support and Quality Focus

• Follows standard Engineering and Technology practices and procedures (NPD, DLS, Lean Sigma, etc.). Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization. Participates in Entegris' continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.

What We Seek:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional college or technical coursework; laboratory, product testing, manufacturing related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience; or a demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job.

• Hourly pay in the $26-$32/hr range depending on experience.
