Laborer/Operator

Morgan County Sand and Gravel is currently seeking a Laborer/Operator for our operation located in Martinsville, IN.

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Learning and understanding our safety culture and implementing all of Rogers Group's safety principles without compromise

• Work and train on dredge

• Manage plant operations

• Plant maintenance and clean up

• Operate loader when needed and feed crushing circuit

• Train on various types of equipment including dredge

• May be called upon at the discretion of the supervisor in charge to perform any other duties assign and/or to assist with other areas as necessary

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• General mechanical knowledge

• Ability to maintain safe working conditions

• Self-starter/ ability to work without close supervision

• Previous experience working in mining environment preferred

• Basic welding skills preferred, but not required

• Dredge experience is a plus

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening

• Overtime is required as needed and may include Saturdays
