VIEW JOBS 1/8/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-07T00:00 Job Description Business Unit: Water Transfer Water Transfer Laborer Want an outdoor job that allows you to get your hands dirty? Like working on a team? Want to work in the oilfield? Keep reading. What you will do. As a Water Transfer Laborer, you'll lay down heavy hose that will be used to move water from a source to a customer job site. Most of the time, motorized equipment will be used to do this and you'll be on foot following it. But there may be times where the equipment can't handle the terrain and you'll have to throw the hose over your shoulder and haul it yourself. When you get to the end of a section of hose, you'll use powered hand tools to connect it end-to-end to the next section. Once you get all the hose laid out and connected and water starts moving through it, you'll use state of the art equipment to monitor water tank levels and adjust how much water is flowing through it. When the job is done, you'll pick it all up and move on to the next job site and do it again. What you need to know. You're going to work…a lot. There will be long days and some weekend work. This is outdoor work and that means you're probably going to get dirty. Being outdoors means you're going to be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Why you want this job. Whether you are just getting started in the oil patch or you are have been in it for years, Water Transfer is a great place to be. You will be working with a team so there is always someone that you can learn from or that can learn from you.
