What You'll Do:
Under general supervision of Building Maintenance Superintendent 2: performs general labor outdoors (i.e. shovels snow, mulch, gravel): loads & unloads trucks; mows grass: cuts weeds: hauls trash: digs holes & ditches: plants flowers, shrubs, trees: moves &/or spreads mulch to needed areas: removes fallen tree debris, branches, cut up trees, rocks: paints &/or stains outdoor wooden fences, structures. Collects and disposes of trash found on the facility grounds.
Performs general labor indoors cleans floors (i.e. mops, sweeps, scrubs, removes &/or applies wax); moves furniture: paints interior walls. Stocks shelves, closets, hangs pictures &/or decorative items. May assist Maintenance Repair Worker 2 (i.e. hold tools, spray water, flip switch).
