To assist different departments within the Company in housekeeping, shipping, maintenance and production by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Help maintain a neat and orderly plant appearance.
Assist maintenance and production departments in cleaning and painting of plant areas.
Prepare drums and packaging materials.
Empty trash containers into bins.
Unload drum/pallet trucks with forklift.
Move/replace full drums using forklift.
Pick up trash throughout the site.
Minor maintenance and painting using hand tools.
Organizing areas for better work flow using manual and power equipment.
Label drums and totes prior to operators filling.
Empty glass trash boxes from lab to trash bins.
Using the drum crusher for recycling drums.
Changing gas cylinders for the laboratory.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience; and one to three months related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid drivers license.
Ability to operate forklift truck and other mechanical equipment.
