LABORATORY TEST ENGINEER

Independent test laboratory, located in Grass Lake, MI, seeks a Laboratory Test Engineer for testing of water, oil and/or fuel filtration products.

Responsibilities include performing setup of test stands, hands-on filtration testing, detailed methodical laboratory logbook completion, gathering data and data preparation for final test reports.

Specific laboratory test skills include:

  • Performing test procedures from published test methods

  • Calculations detailing setup requirements (flow, velocity, pressures, velocity, etc.)

  • Selection of appropriate measurement equipment (flow meters, pressure gauges, particle sensors)

  • Detailed diagramming of test setups

  • Compliance with test stand validation requirements

  • Test instrument calibration

  • Gathering and recording specific test data

  • Compiling test data for final test reports

  • Diagnosis and resolution of test related issues

General knowledge requirements include:

  • Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry or better)

  • Understanding of fluid flow

  • Microsoft Office

  • Test laboratory experience

Successful candidate must have, at minimum, an Associate's Degree in science or engineering or equivalent work experience. Requires strong understanding of physics, mechanical, observational, recording, math and problem-solving skills.

At CP, an Account/Member Service Representative plays a vital role in providing WOW service to our members, one member at a time, each and every time. They are critical to developing meaningful relationships with our members, gathering information about their needs, opening accounts, and educating them about products and services that would benefit them. In this role, you would be responsible for mastering the art of the loan, including accepting complete applications, interviewing members, structuring a loan, and ensuring the member is well-informed about their loan. We rely on our Account/Member Service Reps as our partner in creating a memorable member experience. Duties: A sampling of the duties of an Account/Member Service Representative includes: * Open Savings/Checking accounts, Cds and specialized accounts, including Trusts, Estate Accounts, Court Ordered, Minor MUTMA accounts and Business Accounts. * Ensuring completeness of loan applications, analyzing applicants' financial status, credit, and collateral/assets in order to determine the feasibility of granting a loan. * Understand, cross offer, and educate members on additional products and services, including GAP and Life & Disability Insurance. * Process extension agreements, release of security, loan payoffs, denials notices, and other communications/procedures related to consumer lending. * Lead by example; promote an environment of positivity, teamwork, helpfulness, and wicked-talent Qualifications: Here are some important attributes we're looking for in an Account/Member Service Rep: * Must be eligible to register with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and maintain registration with NMLS as a registered Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) if applicable. * Accuracy and focus in your work is essential. Nobody wants to see an "oops" in their account. * Willingness to interview applicants to gather information necessary for a complete loan application, and the ability to deny applicants who do not meet our lending criteria. * The ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial. * Reliability is extremely important for providing excellent member service and supporting your peers on the front line. * Spread a positive attitude, help teamwork become infectious, and help our CP culture go viral.
