Job Description

You are:

  • Comfortable working on detailed, data focused projects

  • Experienced in working in a fast paced, deadline sensitive environment

  • Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances

  • Proactive in your approach to the work day and able to anticipate the workday pipeline.

You Will:

  • Perform and maintains competency in the technical and related work of the Hematology Laboratory. - - -Manage the physical environment of the laboratory in accordance with New York Department of Health, OSHA, and CLIA regulations.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on all laboratory matters. Assures compliance with MSKCC P&P's, and regulatory agency requirements.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the quality assurance plan, oversees daily operations and promotes a safe environment.

  • Oversee Annually reviews and revises site specific P& P's in collaboration with the MSKCC Laboratory, the Laboratory Director and the Laboratory manager.

You Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Science required. ASCP preferred.

  • Also requires 6 years minimum experience in laboratory medicine.

  • Knowledge of laboratory policy and procedures and regulations.

  • Excellent phlebotomy, computer, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to problem solve and work with others as well as independently

Job Description We are seeking an Angio/Interventional Technologist for our Radiology Department at MSK Commack in Long Island. You will: * Perform a variety of specialized imaging procedures (Interventional procedures, Angiography, and C.T.) requiring independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups. * Assist physicians when performing the procedures and provides emergency on-call coverage. You are: * Committed to high standards of productivity. * Motivated to provide extraordinary customer service. * Action-oriented and eager to tackle new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. * Adaptable in your approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations. * A good decision maker, with proven success of making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward. * Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet dedications aligned with organizational goals. You need: * A High School diploma and a degree from a 2 Year AMA approved school of Radiology Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. * A New York State license in Radiologic Technology / ARRT registration, C.T. certification required.
