The Associate Technician Reagent Manufacturing performs a variety of laboratory duties. Responsibilities include:
1.Manufacture fine particle products under a regulated environment by means of electronic batch records. Technician prepares and tests production and pilot reagents according to written procedures and protocols.
2.Performs In- Process testing of products in order to determine acceptance criteria ranges by means of instrumentation such as Flow cytometer, FC-500, Navios, Spectrophotometer, and Multisizer 3 and 4.
3.Maintains equipment under a maintenance schedule. Performs indirect labor tasks such as inventory, material transactions, process verifications, daily management of the lab, layered audits in a rotational cadence, and general instrument troubleshooting. maintains accurate records of work performed according to FDA, GMP and ISO requirements; may perform manufacturing in-process control checks; and may facilitate the testing process by assembling kits, washing and preparing glassware
4.Compile and analyze test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency and to diagnose malfunctions
5.Write necessary reports, initiate manufacturing document change orders, and prepare standard operating procedures for processes, facilities, products, and tests as required
6.Daily usage of the electronic batch record in order to manufacture Flow Cytometry products. Individual must be excel proficient.
7.Handles other assigned projects for process improvements and metrics.
8.Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards
9.General understanding of laboratory practices by using GLP, GMP, and overall FDA compliance.
10. Individual must be able to multitask effectively and to work in a teamwork environment.
11. Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to the job

Associate's Degree in a Science, or related & with at least 2 experience working in an FDA regulated environment laboratory. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance, stand 6 to 7 hours a day and move materials in and out of a 2 to 8 degree refrigerator 2 to 3 times a day.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and general Microsoft software.
Fast learner in a Fast-pace environment. Work overtime when necessary.
