  • Perform laboratory activities necessary for routine testing of client samples and the generation of cGMP and R&D grade reports. In addition, perform reagent preparation and laboratory maintenance/monitoring.

  • Perform routine testing in techniques such as the following with a high degree of reliability, efficiency and accuracy:

  • Analytical Ultracentrifugation (AUC)

  • Size Exclusion HPLC-MALLS (SEC-MALLS)

  • Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)

  • Intrinsic Tryptophan Fluorescence (ITF)

  • Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR)

  • Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS)

  • Protein Binding via SPR-Biacore

  • Circular Dichroism (CD)

  • For both cGMP and R&D grade routine testing, generate biophysical data and technical report (s)on-time with respect to internal and client deadlines. Maintain a weekly schedule to ensure all timelines are met.

  • Actively participate in laboratory instrumentation and equipment preventative maintenance and qualification programs.

  • Comply with all pertinent regulatory standards regarding environs, equipment and testing services.

  • Perform assay and equipment troubleshooting under guidance from senior members of the group.

  • Compose high quality written reports such as deviation reports and change control documentation under guidance.

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Auditor II, for our Quality Assurance Department located in Woburn, MA. The position is responsible for performing audits of protocols, raw data and final reports of medium complexity for routine and specialty assays, process documentation and labeling to assure accuracy and compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies. Perform reviews of incoming, and in-process materials, with the authority for subsequent approval or rejection of these items against material specifications. Actively participate in hosting sponsor audits, and performing internal audits of Quality Systems. Participate in collecting and reporting of site quality metrics and qualification audits of subcontractors. The following are minimum requirements related to the Quality Assurance Auditor II position: * Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent, preferably in a life science or related discipline. * Minimum of 2 to 4 years in a Quality Assurance role. * An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office ® applications and spreadsheet programs such as Access and Excel. This position requires the individual to comprehend regulations and guidance documents and apply critical thinking skills to evaluate requirements and effectively communicate (written and oral) findings.
