Job Title: Laboratory Technician in Social Circle, GA!

Job Description

Join our team as a Laboratory Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in our Quality Control (QC) laboratory with 24/7 coverage. You will be responsible for processing all samples that arrive in the AQC before they are sent out for testing. This involves utilizing systems such as JDE, EBM, and LIMS to sign out, receive, log, and aliquot samples. Your duties will also include routine sample pickups, maintenance of laboratory equipment and environment, and assisting in data management and sample archiving. Additionally, you will support laboratory operations through equipment metrology, data reconciliation, and archiving. This role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and handling chemicals with necessary safety precautions.

Hard Skills

• 6+ months experience in a laboratory environment (academic or professional)
• Experience with GMP
• Proficiency in JDE, EBM, and LIMS systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work flexible schedules

• Good organizational skills

Work Environment

This position requires working a second shift schedule from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility needed for overnight or weekend shifts when necessary. The initial 2-3 months will include training during weekend days (12-hour shifts) and additional days during the week. Post-training, the regular shift schedule will commence. The role involves working around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, and buffers, and may require respiratory protection.
