What You Will Do
As a Laboratory Client Services Liaison you will serve the needs of IHTC laboratory patients by coordination of services related to any concerns regarding denied lab claims, ICD-10 codes, CPT codes, credits, and service recovery. This position is responsible for performing research and to ensure billing teams, insurances, and referral laboratories are supplied with accurate information. This information is presented or exchanged with laboratories, patients, and/or insurances, in relevance to best practice and laboratory compliance, pertaining to coordination with referral labs. The role also includes communication across disciplines, IHTC providers and departments, in addition to hospitals, external providers, insurances, and billing teams. An important function of this position includes communication of new tools and resources relating to coding and billing modifications, which pertain to laboratory diagnostics and ordering.
