Summary

As a member of the Drug Discovery team you will develop and implement cohesive workflows for the integration of high-throughput chemistry and drug screening. Utilizing robotic automation, liquid handling, and assay readout platforms, you will be directly involved with processes generating chemical libraries and in vitro screening data. The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses both experience with translating scientific needs to automated workflows and a deep appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of protocols for lab instrumentation and robotic platforms

  • Run protocols that produce chemical libraries

Adapt in vitro assays to high-throughput workflows

  • Oversee instrument maintenance and troubleshooting and interface with service engineers to maximize operation uptime

  • Evaluate new enabling technologies and provide solutions that improve throughput

  • This position provides opportunities for conducting research in areas of drug discovery

Experience and Skills

  • BS or MS (+7/5 yrs), or PhD, with industry experience high-throughput technologies for drug discovery (i.e: instrumentation, automation)

  • Experience with programming platforms for laboratory automation or robotics

  • Experience with a wide variety of lab instrumentation especially Echo and nanoliter-scale liquid handlers, robotic platforms, scheduling software, and plate readers

$100,000 - $150,000 a year

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000. The final salary will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
