Job Summary: The Laboratory Assistant Is responsible for providing the technical ability necessary to perform laboratory procedures for pediatric through geriatric according to established policies and procedures with minimal supervision in the physician office setting. Is responsible for providing the collection of blood specimens from patients.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma required.

Experience: One or more years experience is preferred. Phlebotomist experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Trained as a medical assistant or have prior experience in a physician's office.
