Laboratory Assistant Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $22.33 - $30.99 an hour

  • Full Time, Nights. 40 hours a week.# *Pay range includes night differential. Boulder Community health is seeking a Laboratory Assistant. The laboratory support staff is responsible for patient relations at Boulder Community Hospital (BCH) including processing patient orders (adult and pediatric), specimen procurement, specimen processing, laboratory testing, transmission of results, maintaining records, and training new employees. #Along with the responsibilities included above are others, such as customer service, utilization of various computer systems, clerical duties, phlebotomy (venipuncture or capillary puncture), processing paternity cases, drug screen collection and breath alcohol testing.

#Responsible for collection and processing of laboratory specimens.#

#Able to perform phlebotomy procedures as required by position.
