Key responsibilities and success factors:

The Lab Technician interprets test data required to comply with product specifications. Below is a list of some of the job requirements:

  • Ensures test equipment is calibrated in conformance with specifications.

  • Must be able to follow standard operating procedures of lab functions and equipment.

  • Ability to ensure products are tested and approved per specification and forwarded to internal customer accompanied by accurate and complete documentation.

Experience and Education:

An Associate's degree is required, with 1-2 years of college chemistry classes or equivalent experience in a chemistry-related industry.

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Incumbent must be able to accurately follow written instructions and have good attention to detail skills.

Must possess strong mathematical skills.

Must comply with the requirements of Lab Tech, level 1.

Experience and Education: Must have a technical degree or equivalent experience. Must be able to effectively manage the Quality Assurance/Control functions and personnel. Must be able to manage and deal with ASC Business Managers and Quality Coordinators. Must have a good working knowledge of the products, their use in the field, how they are tested and manufactured. Must be able to read, write, interpret and communicate in English and use the technical language and terminology associated with the quality assurance functions and product/material specifications. Must be familiar with testing techniques and understand the use of laboratory equipment in order to communicate effectively and make informed decisions. Must have had managerial, quality assurance experience in a similar environment for at least 10 years.
