The Jiang lab is seeking a lab technician to join their lab. We are located within the Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics Department at the University of Virginia. The duties of this position include general lab maintenance and direct participation in cutting edge research experiments.

About the Jiang Lab: The broad interest of our laboratory is how gene expression and cell signaling are regulated by biomolecular condensates, how dysregulation of these mechanisms lead to diseases especially cancer. Moreover, we are developing novel strategies and molecules to target the specific condensates to combat disease. We have recently made exciting progresses in this direction, and are actively exploring their therapeutic potentials.

Lab and Research Technician 2 employees provide increasingly complex technical support for projects and may engage in increasingly complex scientific experiments.
