Job Description:

The Role:

Our site in Franklin is seeking a/an Lab Technician to join our team. The AMC research and development teams consist of several groups. Those being research, product engineering, and analytical services. This role reports directly to product engineering and interfaces with all groups.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate test scheduling. Maintain on - time performance.

• Shipping and receiving related to services.

• Prepare sample equipment.

• Internal AMC sampling

• Quality - facility (maintain historic data spreadsheet)

• Manufacturing - Product Quality Testing

• Customer, internal and external, return filter testing.

• Set-up tests

• Collect AMC trap samples.

• Calibrate instrumentation.

• Preventative maintenance

• Support testing with Research and Development

• Coordinate Filter test tunnel schedule, facilitate meetings.

• Support Development hands on building.

• Coordinate lab Preventative Maintenance program through corporate MRP interface.

Backup Role:

• IC and GC sample analysis

What We Seek:

• Driven to deliver reports on time.

• Equipment maintenance ability.

• Good trouble shooting skills related to problems with process and equipment.

• Prioritize safety.

• Improve processes using techniques found in lean manufacturing.

• Experience in PM programs helpful.

• Good communication and coordination abilities and presentation skills;

• Strong skills in programs such as excel, word, and typical data collection systems/methods.
