Job Description

The Lab Technician is vital in ensuring compliance with FDA, NYS regulations, and company standards by performing tests on production and finished product samples. This role supports the manufacture of dairy-related products and plays a crucial role in maintaining quality and safety. Responsibilities include resolving mechanical malfunctions to enhance productivity, adhering to GMPs, SOPs, and safety regulations, training in key production areas, ensuring sanitary work environments, conducting various product tests, and maintaining accurate records.

Hard Skills

• Conducting microbiological and chemical analyses

• Sensory testing

• Operate laboratory equipment (e.g., cryoscope, titratable acidity testers)

• Utilize LIMS system for data management

• Performing allergen and sterility testing

• Experience in handling Certificate of Analysis (COA)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in East Syracuse, New York.

Work Environment

The work schedule is 6 PM to 6:30 AM, Wednesday through Saturday, with every other Wednesday off. The role requires strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
