Lab Technician

Job Description:

Responsible for hands on bench work, wet chemistry (pH, viscosity, density, specific gravity, etc.)

Will also be using and trained on HPLC and Malvern Spectrometer

Day to day:

• Check calibrations on testing equipment

• Come in and check product shelf for products needing to be tested, and run appropriate tests

• Review daily tasks assigned by Lab Manager to determine necessary tests and what product need to be retested

• Continue running tests on products for the day

• Maintain a clean lab area

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in science is preferred (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.)

Some previous lab experience specifically wet chemistry/bench experience (fromundergrad or industry experience)

Any analytical instrumentation experience is a plus

Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as needed.
