Job Title: Chemistry Lab Intern

Job Description

Seeking two dedicated Laboratory Technicians for a short-term engagement of 1-2 months in our Bake Lab. You will be responsible for making dough, baking it, and conducting various tests to analyze yeast activity. Your tasks will include measuring yeast rise, conducting oven solids, performing hardness tests, and measuring pressure, salt, conductivity, pH, and caustic titrations. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our food production processes.

One position is available for the day shift (10am-6:30pm CST) and one for the night shift (10pm-6:30am CST).

Hard Skills

• Lab tech

• Chemistry or Biology

• experience with GMP (good manufacturing practices)

• ability to use Lab Information Systems similar to LIMS

• familiarity with instruments like Risograph, Kjeldahl, and titrators

Soft Skills

• detail-oriented
• ability to adapt to flexible working hours
• strong communication skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 2 Month(s). This position can serve as a summer internship for students pursing a degree in Chemistry or related field.
