  • Job Objective: A brief overview of the position. * Performs automated and semi-automated clinical laboratory tests. * Reports to * Assigned Supervisor * Supervises* N/A* Ages of Patients * Neonate/ Infant * Pediatric * Adolescent * Adult * Geriatric * Blood Borne Pathogens * High Potential * Qualifications * Education* N/A* Licensure/Certification* N/A* Experience * Preferred: 1 year phlebotomy experience * Essential Responsibilities * Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. * Orders and processes laboratory requests in accordance with established procedures * Collects and processes all necessary paperwork, assuring appropriate reporting * Assists in ordering, maintaining, and restocking of supplies * Answers telephone and responds to questions or directs call to appropriate individual * Utilizes Laboratory Information System as appropriate * Disinfects and maintains work areas as needed * Assists CLS in performing preventative maintenance procedures * Demonstrates proficiency on Laboratory equipment and instrumentation * Complies with hospital and Laboratory safety policies and procedures * Complies with all State and federal regulations * Performs other duties as necessary.

Performs a variety of radiology procedures utilizing all aspects of the equipment. Responsible for producing films as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. * Reports to * Supervisor, Nuclear Medicine * Supervises * None * Ages of Patients * Pediatric * Adolescent * Adult * Geriatric * Blood Borne Pathogens * High Potential * Qualifications * Education * N/A * Licensure/Certification * Required: ARRT or NMTCB or ASCP, California State license, American Heart Association BLS * Experience * Required: Will consider new graduates. * Essential Responsibilities * Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. * Obtain all pertinent medical information from patient to identify age specific needs. * Performs Radiographic procedures of high technical quality. * Utilizes proper radiation protection to protect patient from excessive radiation. * Proficient in use of all equipment reporting all deficiencies to immediate supervisor * Maintains x-ray rooms neatly and stocked for exams and at end of shift. * Eagerly assists in other areas of the Radiology department as assigned. * Efficiently completes a typical days work within scheduled shift. * Able to take on additional procedures during periods of heavy work load. * Uses time between procedures to maintain a safe clean environment. * Uses time between procedures to insure supplies are of adequate levels. * Uses hospital information management system for patient demographics and other patient information. * Communicates pertinent information and unfinished tasks to relief personnel. * Communicates with co-workers piror to breaks and lunches to ensure continuity of workflow. * Complies with departmental plan to meet budget goals. * Completes procedure with high technical quality to produce a high quality recording of the procedure. * Communicates observations of patient condition changes to RN/MD. * Provides safe patient environment at all times; * Stays with patient who may be in danger of falling and hurting themselves. * Safe transportation of patient. * Correctly identifies patient by use of arm band. * Demonstrates and maintains aseptic technique during a procedure. * Demonstrates cost effectiveness by using judgment when opening and using supplies. * Properly disposes of all sharps and biohazardous waste.
