The Lab Supply Supervisor position reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Lab Supply Supervisor position is responsible for complete oversight of the day to day operations of our lab supply department. This department manages supply for both main lab at CDH (supplying both Delnor Hospital and Kishwaukee Hospital) along with all reference requests from clients in Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri, and any future locations. The Laboratory Supply Supervisor ensures the proper protocol is followed to deliver on our expected delivery turnaround time on any supply orders. Timely distribution is essential both in the field and in-house. The Lab Supply Supervisor also works with purchasing, receiving, materials management as well as clinical engineering to make sure all laboratories, satellite labs and reference clients supply and equipment needs are met. Provide a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
Ongoing support of our teams and the overall business including various pricing projects and special requests.
Act as a liaison between the sales team, main lab, supply and courier along with various outsourced vendors.
Provide ideas and suggestions to increase efficiencies not only in regards to client office but also internal processes.
Responsible for management of purchase orders as it pertains to both the supply and courier department.
Responsible for managing funding for all expiring POs for supply, courier and satellites.
Responsible for the appropriate disposal of equipment and communicating STAT requests at each external site both in-house and reference.
Ability to effectively work with HealthLab internal operations along with new clients to resource prioritized initiatives and escalate as necessary.
Responsible for staffing of department from recruiting needs to staffing management.
Responsible for performance evaluations.
Participates and coordinates with supply chain management in initiative to move delivery to desk top delivery from vendor to client site. Active participant in all discussions with management and vendor.
Maintains up-to-date client site demographic database.
Works directly with supply chain project manager on efficiencies for overall end goal in inventory management of supply chain.
Responsible for timely delivery of out-of-state orders and STAT requests.
Works directly with management on creating an Office Depot catalog for sales/service team to order directly from vs. storing large items for client office start ups and STAT requests.
Responsible for maintaining the purchases hitting the associated Office Depot account.
Responsible for entire lab and satellite management with Iron Mountain vendor.This includes all recording responsibility of patient information and records that go to Iron Mountain.
Also acts as responsible party for Iron Mountain logistics and transport.
CAP responsibilities include maintaining an up to date database of cycle counts, recording of TAT as well as orders received on a daily basis.
Attend the monthly QIPI meeting to review client dashboards/issue tracking and communicate accordingly.
Devise communication plan for end users in regards to status of upcoming system changes that affect workflow.
Problem solves application and workflow issues and works through barriers to achieve results by collaborating effectively with operations.
Perform continuous improvement throughout the department.
Responsible for compliance with the CAP checklist and the presentation of the department during inspections.
An Associates Degree or currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program.
At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or Warehouse Management.
General understanding of inventory management.
Customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred:

3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or Warehouse Management.
