Promotes customer service by supporting Inova customer service behaviors. Professional
Maintains personal/professional development to ensure effective job performance to contribute to organizational effectiveness.
Supervision of the daily operations of the Inova Emergency Care Facilities at Fairfax and Reston, including hiring, scheduling, evaluations and CAP inspection readiness.
Experience: Four years experience in specialty to include demonstrated abilities in teaching, human resource development, communication and problem solving.
Education: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university in clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or Physical Science
Certification:ASCP Certification consistent with the scope of responsibility (MLS/MT,MLT, HT, HTL, BB, C, H, M, CT), or American Medical Technologists (AMT), or Laboratory Technologist Certification (HEW).
Training: Clinical Laboratory Science training commensurate with ASCP requirements for examination eligibility.
