This Student Assistant position will support laboratory research related to plant diseases and the biology of their causal agents under the direction of a faculty member and/or graduate students in the Department of Plant Pathology. Duties include, but are not limited to, care for plants and/or microbial cultures, assistance with lab protocols and assays, support of lab maintenance and chores, uploading and editing content in a WordPress website, assisting with processing plant diagnostic samples, and support of graduate student research.

Minimal lifting/bending in the normal operations of a typical office/lab environment.
