About the Role

This role requires person to facilitate the testing of new product development. Testing involves test subjects to operate and maintain a mechanical device. The device simulates driving conditions and helps system to capture the human behavior in different driving condition.

Your Team

This is a independent role and no one reports to this person or position.

What You Will Do

• Ability to assemble, disassemble and connect, disconnect mechanical, electrical equipment and PC's

• Comfortable with Windows and Linux workstations and peripherals (IPads, smartwatches, smartphones…)

• the client's team in Basic Linux scripting and command-line knowledge only (enough to follow guidance from the remote tech support team for any issues)

• Some computer networking knowledge.

• Ability to follow directions and instructions precisely

• Ability to work independently, use web-conferencing capabilities.

What You Need

• Knowledge and experience on basic Linux commands

What is Nice to Have

What Makes You Eligible

• No Travel is involved

• Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA

• Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

• This position requires the use of a use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle. As such, any offer of employment will be contingent upon having a clean driving record, which will be evaluated and determined in HARMAN's sole discretion, no more than 4 active points for moving violations (issued by any motor vehicle agency), and no references to operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years.

Salary Ranges:

USD 58,500 - USD 85,800
