Lab Operations Engineering Technician

RMC is hiring for a Lab Operations Engineering Technician who will provide operation and maintenance support for simulation stations and supporting equipment. The selected applicant will set up and configure simulation equipment for test and training sessions, and maintain schedules of simulation sessions, including resources used and required configuration.

The position provides technical support to project engineers and simulation customers. Candidate experience should include, but not be limited to:

• Strong understanding of aircraft systems operation, to include hardware, software and procedures.

• Experience with simulation and/or simulation technology, to include: audio systems, video systems, projection systems, or computer hardware systems and their operation.

• Strong hardware, software and network troubleshooting skill sets.

A High School diploma or GED is required as well as technical training in simulation, simulation technology, or electronics.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience, with simulation and/or simulation technology, to include: audio systems, video systems, projection systems, or computer hardware systems and their operation is required. A minimum of one (1) year of network computer system operation, military computer system operation, simulator operation, or electronic and computer repair experience is required.

The select applicant must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Security Clearance: An active DoD security Clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
