Labs and Technical Services is seeking a self-motivated Electrical/Electronics engineer senior to help design Simulation Hardware (HW) Lab environments for our customers. Tasks include electrical wiring design, schematic capture, 2D drawings, parts lists definition, configuration management, procurement, vendor coordination, HW fabrication liaison, HW checkout, equipment troubleshooting, Lab HW integration, and delivery to cover the entire HW Development Lifecycle.
Candidate will provide Earned Value Management System (EVMS) inputs to the HW Lead and ensure collaborative support across Hardware design team, External Vendors/Suppliers, and Build team personnel.
The initial assignment entails developing and integrating Hardware electronic equipment for Hardware-In-The-Loop Lab applications for the F-35 System Integration Labs and Reprogramming Labs team. Hardware development duties are likely to change over time. Assignments may change over time as required by the organization.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret security clearance to start.
Bachelor of Science from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with knowledge of electronics design, assembly, and checkout.
Experience in electrical hardware interpretation and development of Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists, and Bill of Materials.
Experience with HW Design configuration management tools such as Product Data Manager (PDM) and/or CADATANET.
Experience with Electronic troubleshooting techniques and test equipment including problem analysis/resolution.
