Princeton UniversityRequisition # 2018-9160Department Andlinger Cntr for Energy/EnvCategory Research and LaboratoryFull-Time / Part-Time Part-TimeOverview The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment is seeking a research specialist (research lab assistant) for a position in the Behavioral Science for Policy Lab (BSPL) located at the intersection of the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, the Woodrow Wilson School for Public Policy, and the Psychology Department. As an interdisciplinary lab, BSPL brings together researchers with varied backgrounds in order to shed light on the psychological foundations of real-world decisions, with a focus on issues related to energy and the environment.The lab assistant will facilitate multiple aspects of BSPL research initiatives, reporting to the lab manager and working with postdocs and graduate students.Responsibilities Responsibilities include:* Assist in the design of web-based surveys and experiment, including programming, developing, testing and implementing online studies
Help to collect, clean, code and analyze data; assist in writing up results
Assist in literature reviews and compiling citation lists
Provide other administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications Education: Bachelor degree (BA or BS) in relevant field helpful.Experience: 1-3 years' experience in academic research lab, preferably behavioral science.
Must possess strong managerial and organizational skills, with the ability to manager several concurrent tasks. Proficient in MS Office. Qualtrics and R programming language is helpful.
Knowledge of linear models, analysis of variance and data visualization methods is helpful.
