Gather accurate and precise billing information.

Monitors and inspects over-the-counter specimens to insure proper labeling and specimen integrity. Receives payments and provides receipt to customer upon request according to#hospital policy and procedure. Bills patients, third party payors and institutions utilizing the appropriate fee schedule, billing cycle and statement format.

Generates billing reports and monitors accounts receivable and performs monthly audits. Performs credits and adjustments. Sorts and distributes mail.
