Providence is calling a Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist (On-Call, Variable) in Phlebotomy to Providence Centralia
In this position you will:
Provide technologist support and clerical support
Assist with patient registration.
Accurately inputs information into the computer and maintains related paperwork.
Handle specimen collection (where appropriate), preparing samples for reference laboratories.
Perform procurement and processing of clinical specimens for laboratory analysis and reporting of results.
Performs phlebotomy duties on inpatient, outpatient and emergency department patients.
Required qualifications for this position include:
One (1) year working experience or satisfactory completion of six (6) months medically oriented training program
Familiarization with computer skills
Typing ability at 40 WPM
Ability to perform pre-test counseling for HIV testing per WACs
Assistant Phlebotomist Certification (MA-P)
WSDL and safe driving record.
