Rotating shifts - mainly 830am-5pm

  • Monday

  • Thursday and 130p-10pm or 2-1030pm on Friday. Occasion early shift during week days when needed of 6-2:30pm

What You Will Do

As an Associate with St. Vincent Health-IN, you will have the opportunity to perform technical and clerical functions in one or more sections of the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with receiving, identifying, accessioning, processing and transporting specimens.

  • Maintains equipment and adequate stock of supplies.

  • Keeps work area in a safe, aseptic and organized manner.

  • Fulfills clerical duties which may include but are not limited to answering phones, data entry, and filing.

  • Process specimens and performs record keeping duties as required by department.

  • Performs materials management duties such as maintaining supply inventories at optimum levels (restocking and maintenance of department supplies as well as linen and housekeeping items); transports specimens, equipment and supplies.

  • Diploma

  • High school diploma or GED required
