JOB DESCRIPTION:
OFFICE AIDE 1104.02AR
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1.High school diploma or equivalent.
2.General clerical and technology experience including word processing
3.The ability to direct and interact with students, parents, guests, and colleagues in a positive manner.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Office Manage/Department Director
JOB GOAL: To provide support to the office in running its day-to-day operations while greeting and assisting visitors in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Provides clerical support to front office staff.
2.Helps receive all calls and directs to appropriate party.
3.Greets all visitors and directs them to appropriate party.
4.Assists with correspondence on request.
5.Coordinates dispatch information for the pony system.
6.Assists with student attendance records as directed by the Office Manager/Department Director.
7.Perform necessary medical-related services for students who have been determined by their physician to need such services, upon written delegation of the responsibilities and proper training by the District Nurse.
8.Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager/Department Director
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Compensation will be based on 185 contract days on the board-approved 104 salary. This position requires a 6.5- hour workday.
