KY Ready Corps
KY Ready Corps is an AmeriCorps State Program. KY Ready Corps Members serve part-time, 15-25 hours per week, at non-profits, educational, government and community agencies and on projects that address community outreach and education, volunteer coordination and support, and preparedness assessments and plans.
Members must be 17 years of age or older, and have earned college credit or have experience in a discipline related to emergency or disaster preparedness or response. Members can serve one or two semesters or a full year, depending on the site project, and collect a modest living allowance and education award at end of service.
