Kubernetes Administrator

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Kubernetes Administrator. This candidate will be a key player to help discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Seattle, WA or Raleigh, NC Richardson, TX or Tempe, AZ or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At Least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years in Linux and Kubernetes.
• Design and implement Kubernetes platform, on-premises, including compute, network, load balancer, storage etc as per application requirements.
• Experience in Kubernetes Platform and worked in implementing and managing OpenShift Platform on Bare Metal.
• Experience in integrating Enterprise storage solution with Kubernetes Platform through CSI driver.
• Experience in Setting up and managing container working.
• Implementing and managing Container registry, platform monitoring, logging and C/CD solution.
• Experience in container security.
• Responsible for day 2 platform support and on call support in off business hours.
• Manage SRE and support activities on 24x7 shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Spectro Cloud Kubernetes solution will be a big advantage
• knowledge in managing private docker/image repositories (Quay, Nexus, JFrog, etc...)
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps
• Strong communication and Analytical skills.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Have good knowledge on Troubleshooting and providing speedy solution in case of failure of the database.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. The job entails extensive amount of travel.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below location will be:

Seattle, WA: $80,201 to $127,000
