Korean Bilingual Procurement Purchasing Manager / Round Rock, TX / Others / Dir-Ima

The procurement manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities. This role involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services at competitive prices. The Procurement Manager’s duty is not only to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses but also to secure new opportunities through the development of new products based on understanding of semiconductor industry so that the company can invest in growth and people.

Job Description

• Overseeing procurement division’s daily activities including the entire process from supplier selection to submitting quotations and ensuring turning into the actual PO.

• Analyzing key procurement items for each fabrication process and identifying new potential generating items

• Strengthen communication with clients to diversify the range of products we handle

• Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies

• Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships

• Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  

Job Specific Duties

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that are aligned with the company’s objectives

• Manage and oversee the procurement process, including the selection of vendors, negotiation of contracts, and management of supplier relationships

• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

• Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental goals

• Create sourcing strategy to provide best value to clients and meet their satisfaction

• Analyzing each fabrication process and infra department to keep extending our business scope

• Finding potential suppliers based on project requirements, inquiry products

• Finding alternative sources based on understanding of client’s specific requirement

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor field experience preferred (Samsung or Samsung Tier 1)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, semiconductor related (or demonstrable equivalent experience)

• Proficient in Microsoft office and QuickBooks

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Bilingual Preferred (English and Korean)
