The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic financial input to senior management. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
- Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
- Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and training as needed.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Sage 100.
- Bilingual in Korean and English.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent certification.
- Experience in [specific industry or sector, if relevant].
