Korean Bilingual Accountant / Richardson, TX / Others / Btihq

General Position Purpose: Your role is managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department; monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements; establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.Essential Responsibilities

Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.

Collect, Confirm & Prepare monthly timesheet, and travel expense according to the travel policy.

Make travel expense reimbursement reports for Payroll to process bi-weekly.

Collect and track vendor invoices to prepare checks, resolve invoice discrepancies.

Make travel arrangement for employees.

Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.

Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups

Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies

Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors

Other job duties as assigned including: but not limited to, accounting principle and vendor research.Must have the following competencies:

• Ethical Practice (Corporate Responsibility, Code of Conduct, Confidentiality)
• Computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Communications skills
• Korean/English Bilingual Preferred

Supervisory Responsibility

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
