Job Summary:
The Customer Support Engineer of the Chemical Business team at UCD HQ will be responsible for technical support and data reporting to UDC’s customers in Korea. They will support the manufacturing in new product introduction activities and collecting intelligence on customer development forecast. This person will also coordinate the on-time collection and reporting of data to meet customer requirements.
Essential Functions:
Maintain an active communication and relationship with the Chemical Business Analysis team to ensure data and presentation generation are completed in full
Effectively manage deadlines to meet customer timeline expectations
Support customer forecasting activities, specifically for development programs
Support the operations of the Chemical Business Analysis and Reporting team as needed
Travel Requirements:
This position is located at UDC HQ in Ewing, New Jersey
At least one trip to Korea per year to engage with UDC Korea team and Korean customers
Travel to PPG sites as needed for customer site audits
Qualifications:
Able to understand and communicate technical concepts. A preferred candidate will be able to do so in both English and Korean
Post-secondary education in a STEM or business discipline. Experience in a technical field preferred
Ability to interact with customers in a manner which reflects positively on UDC
Ability to manage schedule to effectively meet deadlines that may span days, weeks, or months
An acute attention to detail to ensure accurate and consistent reporting in both content and style
