The Knowledge Manager supports Strategic Operations as the primary knowledge management source for corporate and subsidiary past performance. The Knowledge Manager is also the primary corporate communications source for Strategic Operations, serving as primary contributor for marketing efforts and writer for past performance volumes and sources sought response efforts.
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Serves as primary source of corporate and subsidiary past performance knowledge for all assigned projects
Capture, develop and effectively communicate past performance knowledge to achieve organization objectives.
Build and maintain an active past performance repository; make accessible and available to Strategic Operations to assist in proposal development, reporting, communications, and positioning of the Company.
Develops detailed Gap Analyses to assist with past performance decisions. Organize and make accessible the results and provide recommendations to Management to ensure they are able to make an informed decision for potential proposals.
Researches and writes past performance narratives.
Interviews program operations ' subject matter experts to develop compelling stories for proposal past performance
Researches and writes detailed Sources Sought responses to attempt to steer the government towards small business Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitations.
Reviews, edits and provides recommendations for technical proposals for consistency, programmatic and grammatical accuracy, and conformance to Federal government style for official documents.
Ensures past performance and Meaningful Involvement narratives are compelling and compliant.
Develops capabilities white papers and briefings for senior-level management to submit to government
Contracting offices for possible sole source work.
Regularly interfaces with personnel across the Alutiiq family of companies, responding to requests for information from those personnel on a variety of corporate and technical subjects.
Collaborates (as assigned) between JV partners, and Alutiiq corporate Legal and Risk Management offices to establish detailed due diligence packages which include obtaining company financials and relevant past performance to ensure compliance.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High level of proficiency in writing, editing, and technical research.
Broad knowledge in corporate and subsidiary history, and past performance contracts.
Above average skills in the full Microsoft Office suite of products.
Excellent skills in writing, editing, research, presentation, and interpersonal communication.
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously work multiple tasks with high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and succinctly write about any subject.
Demonstrated ability to successfully see projects through to completion.
General knowledge of assigned business lines.
Maintains SECRET clearance desired.
B.S. degree in Journalism, English, or related field desired
