Specialized Skillsets/Knowledge. Minimum general experience of five (5) years providing knowledge management systems support similar to functions described
under this functional support area, and having knowledge and understanding of applicable concepts and practices.
Strong oral and writing skills to work closely with all levels of personnel involved in IT operations and technical aspects of systems.
Overall computer proficiency including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
Have a solid knowledge base and experience level to manage as aspects of COMNAVAIRPAC/LANT SharePoint Portal
Manage all data collection sites for CNAP/CNAL and all Subordinate activities
Manage Template implementation/transition to custom web sites using HTML/JAVA/CSS
Provide customer support/troubleshooting to Senior Staff and users
Development and provide training material/user guides to Site Managers and User community
Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships and effectively communicate with senior management, project managers, and IT operations staff
Demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to apply a methodology to projects that have well-defined requirements and deliverables.
Advanced degree in business and/or social sciences or equivalent verifiable work experience of five (5) years as a Knowledge Manager for a Department of the Navy organization. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. A working knowledge of the Six Sigma methods and techniques, a Green Belt certification is required for this position.
