Develops and establishes program policies, processes and systems to capture, harness, and exploit intellectual capital from across an Army project management organization and related entities. Leverages technologies to disseminate knowledge products and maintain connectivity between people and information to ensure a timely, resourced, and informed decision making capability for the organization.
Serves as transformation/change agent by identifying, sharing and implementing best practices for internal/external Microsoft SharePoint administration. Develops and maintains organization's website/portal to ensure knowledge dissemination to thousands of users. Assists the leadership in directing and fostering a cultural knowledge management change in the organization while providing recommendations and options to institutionalize Microsoft SharePoint.
Educates employees about SharePoint as a knowledge management tool and its benefits. Designs, develops, tests, maintains, and optimizes the use of SharePoint sites and software applications integrated with SharePoint. Promotes knowledge management and builds knowledge teams for the purpose of developing and implementing a content migration plan. Maintains continuous development of new organizational and online communities.
BS or BA in related field
Minimum 3 years related experience
DoD operational, planning, project management or weapons development experience
Microsoft SharePoint environment and workflow process tools experience
Advanced knowledge and skill with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Project Management certification
Experience with DoD contracting, financial management, systems engineering, test and evaluation, logistics, security and production
Experience with and a basic understanding of commercial entity contracting, business, and HR operations
Project Management Professional certification
Lean Six Sigma experience
