Kitchen Supervisor

About the Role:

As a Kitchen Supervisor in our Retail Trade industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen in Illinois, ILLI. Your main objective will be to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. You will be expected to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, manage inventory and supplies, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver high-quality food and service to our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a retail or food service environment

• Certification in food safety and sanitation

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff

• Ensure that food quality and safety standards are met at all times

• Manage inventory and supplies, and place orders as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

• Train and develop kitchen staff to improve their skills and performance

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff. You will also need to have a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as experience with inventory management and ordering supplies. Additionally, your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously will be crucial to your success in this role. Finally, any experience in a retail or food service environment, as well as bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, will be highly valued.
