Oregano's Pizza Bistro is Arizonas award-winning Chicago neighborhood pizza joint. We serve handcrafted thin crust, stuffed and pan pizzas, pastas, huge salads, original adult specialty drinks, and our renowned dessert, The Original Pizza Cookie. Using fresh ingredients and real Wisconsin Cheese (not that fake stuff!), Oreganos combines authentic Chicago pizza and other eclectic and innovative dishes, friendly service and a nostalgic, big band-laced ambience to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Founded in 1993, Oreganos history starts where every good Italian restaurant begins in the family kitchen of our founder, Mark S. Russell. Using authentic family recipes, Oreganos has grown to 21 restaurants across the Phoenix metro area, Tucson and Flagstaff. Last year we opened our first of several locations in Colorado and look forward to continued expansion in other states. We recently announced three new locations to open in 2019, and have a number of future sites planned over the next several years.
A Kitchen Manager for Oreganos Pizza Bistros Numero One-O responsibility is guest satisfaction. They are responsible for ensuring perfect food is delivered to every guest, for every meal, and assist in building sales and profit. Kitchen Manager create a positive work environment, uphold the Oreganos culture, take ownership in the business, and strive to be profitable by doing what is best for our guests and our team. Kitchen Manager for Oreganos need a minimum of 2-3 years casual dining kitchen management experience, the ability to multi task, motivate and lead others, a desire to serve guests, and a solid record of success. Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office based management reporting, Aloha Reporting and POS System, HotSchedules, and Optimum Control Inventory Management System a plus.
Take Care of Our Guests:
Recipe execution and adherence.
Support and hold daily pre-shifts focused on food, cleanliness and safety.
Manage and execute equipment maintenance and cleaning schedules.
Train and ensure all team members maintain personal hygiene and uniform standards.
Execute, coach and manage daily line checks, prep lists, par sheets, pull thaws and HACCP logs.
Responsible for hiring needs of kitchen team.
Be a Coach:
Manage BOH team to properly execute Oreganos Experience.
Provide daily feedback to all team members to create ownership in what they do and ensure continued growth and partnership.
Conduct BOH team orientations, educating applicants on Oreganos culture and expectations.
Assist in setting prep pars with MP to maximize productivity.
Complete all BOH team evaluations in a timely manner.
Ensure Oreganos policies and procedures are upheld.
Participate in the certification of BOH trainers and cross train kitchen positions.
