Job Summary:

As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist with the preparation, serving and cleanup for community and home-delivered meal service to seniors. You will help to prepare and serve congregate meals, package home-delivered meals, wash dishes, stock groceries, and clean equipment and work areas. You will also act as back up for various kitchen roles.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Assist with food preparation as directed by cooking staff.

• Assist with packaging home delivered meals and serving congregate meals as needed.

• Transport meals as needed.

• Cross trained in other site position to assist if needed.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work independently, communicate effectively, follow directions, and be efficient and accurate.
